Wow. What a record! I was just six years old when this came out but the groove is unforgettable. I would ride in my father’s car and the stereo would be tuned into local London pirate stations (Girls FM, London Underground, and Freek FM) playing all the latest garage imports, like this chugger.
This is that sort of record you can chill to, or jack your body to at a party. Jazz scales, subtle, smoked-out horns and a deep groove. Bliss.
